Directions To Fix New Settings In Outlook Express:
NOTE: Make sure you have gone into the web based email and
logged into your account and changed your password by click on options
at the top, then click on Change Password.
| 1. Open Outlook Express or
Microsoft Exchange 2. Click cancel or hide if you get a error message. 3. Click on "Tools" at the top of Outlook. Then Select "Accounts" for Outlook Express. For Microsoft Exchange click on "Email Accounts" 4. For Outlook Express the Internet Accounts window will open up. Ensure that the "Mail" tab is selected. For Exchange you will see something similar. 5. Click one time on your mail account that you see. Then Click on the "Properties" button for Outlook Express and for Exchange click on the "Change" button. 6. All customers will need the following settings corrected in the properties: a. On the General Tab - Mail Server Name is: ns1.drcomputerllc.net b. Click on the Server Tab and change the Outgoing and Incoming Mail to: ns1.drcomputerllc.net c. Still looking on the Server Tab, change your "Account Name" by adding the @pcbypass.com or the @jelm.net whichever applies to you. d. Click in the "Check Box" at bottom by the "My Outgoing Server Requires Authenication". e. Next Click on the "Settings" button and make sure that "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected. Then Click "Ok". 7. Next Click the "Apply Button" to save the settings. Then click the "Ok" button. Then Click the "Close" button in the Internet Accounts window. 8. Finally Close out Outlook Express. |
